The Faun or Satyr is a character from the greek and roman mythology. Half-man, half-goat and very obsessed by nymphs and women. Like the Centaur (half-man, half-horse) it used to be a favourite theme of the painters from the end of 19th century.
Some of my favourite artists, like Arnold Böcklin and Max Klinger, created beautiful etchings and paintings with satyrs.
So I gave it a try myself.
